Episode 1
Sloane has spent ten years loving her best friend Finn while he chases Delilah, the girlfriend who breaks his heart on repeat. To Finn, Sloane is the nerd, the backup who's always there. Then Delilah gets engaged to Hunter, and Finn is thrilled—until he tosses Sloane a plane ticket to Asheville, North Carolina. They're crashing the wedding.
At the airport, Finn is nowhere to be found. Instead, a dark-eyed man in black introduces himself as "the wrong brother"—Knox, Finn's older brother. The heat between them is immediate, and when Finn finally appears, the tension only sharpens.

Episode 2
Knox doesn't take Sloane to his parents' house—he takes her to a sex shop to buy a wedding present. Sloane rolls with it, joking about finding something with enough voltage to zap Delilah. But Knox's eyes stay fixed on her, and when he says Finn described her as a nerd—"not a woman"—it lands like a challenge. He admits he owns a sex club.
When Finn is caught making out with Delilah, who's still engaged to Hunter, Delilah refuses to call off the wedding. Knox corners Sloane and says what she's been hiding: she's in love with Finn. Even Finn knows.

Episode 3
The air goes thin when Knox says it out loud: Sloane is in love with Finn. She fires back—why won't Knox warn Hunter that his fiancée is cheating? Knox's answer is cold. Hunter already knows. Delilah and Finn are "soulmates" caught in a toxic cycle that never ends.
Sloane tries to leave and warn Finn, but Knox holds her back, insisting he knows what makes Finn happy—and it's Delilah. Something breaks inside her. Then Knox makes his offer: a bet. If Delilah's wedding to Hunter happens, he'll leave Sloane alone to chase Finn. But if the wedding falls apart, he will violently pursue her.
Episode 4
Sloane can barely breathe, every inch between her and Knox electric. He tells her she needs something else to obsess over—a very pleasurable one. She pushes back that he's her best friend's brother, but Knox doesn't care about codes. "I see what I want. I take it."
Her legs nearly give out. She takes the deal. Knox pulls her against him, warning her to hope the wedding happens—because what he wants is to tie her up and bury himself so deep she blacks out. Then Finn's voice cuts through: what are you two doing?
Episode 5
Caught in the moment, Sloane lies—she tripped, Knox caught her. Finn isn't buying it, and the brothers' tension turns ugly fast. Finn tells Knox to stay away from Sloane; Knox refuses. There's a history between them, something from years ago that Finn won't explain, and Knox brushes off any talk of forgiveness.
Sloane's heart pounds as they fight over her like a prize. She doesn't understand why—but she knows one thing for certain. There's a past between these brothers she knows nothing about, and somehow she's standing right in the middle of it.
Episode 6
Finn lays out the plan: attend the wedding, then destroy it by telling Hunter that Delilah has been sleeping with Finn. Sloane points out Hunter already knows—Knox told her. Finn is stunned, then warns her again to stay away from Knox, calling him a womanizer who could use her to get to him.
Sloane pushes back—Finn never even mentioned having a brother. He apologizes, but the damage is done. Intrigued by Knox's world, Sloane admits she wants to explore it. Finn reluctantly agrees to help her get dressed. They're going to a strip club.
Episode 7
The club is loud enough to feel in your ribs, and Sloane is oddly alive in it. Finn's attention drifts to a dancer across the room, and Sloane's phone buzzes: Knox, mocking her as "what the cat dragged in." He's here, of course.
When Finn points out that a gentleman has paid for Sloane's lap dance, she realizes Knox is behind it—a performance meant just for her, a move to break her. She's caught between wanting to melt into the floor and throw her drink at him. Knox doesn't do anything by accident.
Episode 8
Finn offers the lap dance to Sloane instead, but she tells him to take it—she can watch the man she loves get one. She can't. She escapes to the restroom, where Knox is already waiting, having made sure the women's room was out of bounds. He calls her "kitten" and tells her she looks ravishing.
She tells him to leave. He says to say she doesn't want this and he'll stop. She can't. Something in his grin ignites a desire she's buried too long. If she wants something, he says, she has to beg for it. And she does.

Her son is born without a heartbeat, and out in the corridor Colin is holding Paige's newborn while Tessa's mother tells him to hurry up and hold his son. Six months on she has a pottery shop, a divorce filing, and a folder he ordered the day he heard what they named that baby — and it all comes due on a hotel plaza in the rain, with a husband out on a ledge and a fire department bullhorn broadcasting the truth about whose hands were on her IV that night.
