Story Guide
Episode 1
In 2028, humans and werewolves live together — but a dark secret hangs over the werewolf world. The Alpha King is cursed. Killian Storm is running out of time, and he has one hope: finding his fated mate before he turns thirty next month. Five she-wolves born under a full moon, from various packs, are brought before him. He orders them to turn around. None of them carry the birthmark he's hunting for, and his patience snaps into a grim ultimatum: find his mate, or find him a coffin.
Meanwhile, Naomi Summers has her own countdown — her grandmother is in the hospital, and the medical bills are piling up.
Episode 2
Naomi finds Killian collapsed and calls for an ambulance, staying with him until he wakes. When he opens his eyes, something in him recoils — she can't be his mate. She's human. She introduces herself as Naomi Summers, the girl he nearly hit with his car. He keeps insisting she sit down, remove her shirt, and turn around, increasingly rattled. The impossible is happening: a human is his mate.
Naomi has no idea what she's stumbled into, only that the strange, intense man she rescued is acting stranger by the second — and that her ordinary life just took a sharp turn.
Episode 3
Killian's episodes grow more frequent as his thirtieth birthday closes in, and when Naomi touches him, the pain simply vanishes. He kisses her without warning; she calls him an asshole and storms off. She tells herself she'll never see him again — he's a werewolf, and she'll just pretend she got licked by a dog.
At the hospital, Grandma refuses her heart bypass surgery so Naomi can afford tuition. Naomi counters with a deal: get the surgery, or she skips college. Elsewhere, Killian has a file on her and starts reading.
Episode 4
Naomi's tuition is suddenly paid in full by an anonymous sponsor, along with a $20,000 scholarship. She's thrilled and desperate to thank the donor in person — she has no idea who it is.
At orientation, she gives the student speech as class representative while classmates sneer about her scholarship and background. Then the school's biggest donor is announced: Mr. Killian Storm, the werewolf Alpha King. He makes clear he doesn't want repayment. When she refuses whatever else he's after, he threatens her enrollment, her future, and her grandmother — and counts her down.
Episode 5
Backed into a corner, Naomi agrees to do whatever he wants and is ordered to meet him at the Dean's office. The truth comes out: she carries the mark, and mating with her would break the curse — but an Alpha is too strong for a human. If he mates with her, she dies. Only one of them can live.
Killian offers a signed debt acknowledgment, then demands her first time, sweetening it with a million-dollar check. She refuses — she wouldn't sell herself for a billion. So he calls Joey to bring her grandmother. Naomi breaks and agrees.
