Story Guide

Episode 1

A sniper team has a target in its sights, but the distance is 4000 meters — far beyond any normal shot. Brady makes the call to adjust elevation and windage and take it anyway. One shot, one kill. He hits, setting a world record, and the world starts calling him the King of Guns.

He shrugs off the titles. All he wants, once the uniform comes off, is to go back to his gun range, his family, and make up for lost time. Then, at the Medal of Honor ceremony, seconds before the award can be presented, the legendary marksman vanishes.

Episode 2

Brady is done fighting. Remembering Gavin, the comrade who died to make his record possible, he promises to protect Gavin's family with his own life. Then he disappears into ordinary work — maintenance at a shooting range, checking ammo, inspecting new guns, sweeping floors.

The range is run by Denise, with her daughter Sophia around. The calm breaks when Denise's ex-husband Benny shows up, calling Sophia "princess" and acting like nothing ever ended. Sophia tells him to shut up. Denise reminds him they've been divorced for years. Benny's answer is a sneer — ungrateful brat, just like her mother.

Episode 3

Benny isn't there for a visit. He wants money — 50 grand to clear his gambling debts, or he'll be back every day, call in safety violations, and get the cops on the range. He even threatens to start picking Sophia up from school for "father-daughter bonding."

Denise refuses to pay a cent. When Benny pushes Sophia for where the money is hidden, Denise draws a gun on him. Benny, a self-described B-class sharpshooter, bets she doesn't have the guts to pull the trigger. Brady steps in and tells her to put it down — that's exactly what Benny wants.

Episode 4

Benny learns he badly misread the handyman. Brady disarms him with a move Benny recognizes instantly — a trick his own father taught him. How does a maintenance worker know it? Benny, humiliated, insists it isn't over.

Brady's warning is quiet and absolute: touch them again, and he'll make Benny suffer in ways he can't imagine, over and over, until Benny begs him to end it. Benny folds completely, promising he'll never come near Denise or Sophia again. Sophia, meanwhile, is thrilled — Brady is her hero now. But the question hangs in the air: who is this man really?

Episode 5

Denise tends to Brady after the fight and notices he's bleeding. He waves it off, saying it won't even leave a scar. Then she asks the question he can't easily answer: is he hiding something from her?

The moment is cut short — Redford, coach of the National Shooting team, is arriving. This is the range's big chance to impress an A-class sharpshooter, one of only about a hundred in the world. Tommy sneers that the second lieutenant stuck on gun maintenance duty has no business being near a coach like Redford. Brady stays quiet.

Episode 6

Redford's visit is the range's golden opportunity — if he endorses them, business takes off. Denise wants Brady on standby, and Tommy is openly contemptuous about it. Denise has only been here a year; they can't risk the day on a handyman.

Tommy insists Brady is good for sweeping floors and polishing barrels, nothing more. Others pile on: know your place, stay in your lane, don't ruin this for us. Brady takes the insults without a word. He just gets ready, watching the captain who has no idea who he's talking down to.

Episode 7

Tommy puts on a show for Redford — nines every time, the club's best shot, and plenty of smug commentary aimed at the handyman. Then it's Brady's turn. He's handed a gun that keeps jamming, with the captain predicting it'll fail within three shots.

Brady offers a deal: he'll take a few shots first, and if it gets past three without jamming, Tommy takes it. Then he raises the stakes — no-sight point shooting at 100 meters. Tommy scoffs. Nobody hits anything at that range without sights. Brady says, absolutely.

Episode 8

Brady hits the bullseye — raw, no sights, at 100 meters. The room goes silent. Tommy scrambles to call it luck and predicts he'll whiff the next three, but Redford has already noticed something else: Brady's stance and posture are professionally trained. He's been here a year. Why has no one seen it?

Before that question lands, Vernon arrives. Denise's uncle mocks the range, invokes her late father, and reveals he's bought out the bank that financed the property. He is now her creditor — and one word from him puts the land up for auction.

Episode 9

Vernon doesn't just want the range — he wants to humiliate Denise into handing it over. Since Redford is present, Vernon proposes a contest: if Denise's side wins, the range stays hers and he'll even fund a renovation. If they lose, the range is his forever.

Denise accepts. Sophia asks the anxious question — if they lose, do they get kicked out? Denise promises that won't happen. Redford agrees to judge. Tommy and the club members grumble that Brady will only slow them down, still blind to the fact that the King of Guns is already standing on their side of the line.
