Story Guide
Episode 1
Cordelia Carter wakes in a haze beside a stranger, her breath unsteady, and slips away before he stirs. Damian, the feared Duke of Broken Spine Fortress, is stunned — since his injury he has felt nothing, yet this woman set him burning. Then the impossible happens: "My power, it's back." He demands to know who she is and how she broke his curse. Meanwhile, Cordelia is already reeling from a different betrayal — Ryan, her own fiancé, couldn't even wait for their wedding night. One night has changed two lives, and neither of them knows it yet.
Episode 2
The wedding becomes a nightmare. Ryan is pronounced husband to Veronica — wearing Cordelia's wedding dress. When Cordelia demands to know what's happening, her stepsister sneers that she reeks of some filthy rogue and has clearly been marked. Ryan rages that she opened her legs for a stray on the eve of their wedding. But Cordelia remembers the truth: yesterday they lured her into the forest. "You set me up. You drugged me." The frame was never a crime of passion — it was a trap built by the two people she trusted most.
Episode 3
Ryan ends the engagement publicly, calling Cordelia a ruined bride no pack would welcome into its bloodline. The elders agree she should be stripped of her title. Cordelia begs her father for help, insisting she was framed, but he calls her a parasite like her dying brother. "As of today, you are disowned. Veronica will take your place as Ryan's bride." Then he reveals his real plan: he has already found her a match — Damian of Broken Spine Fortress. Tomorrow she will marry the paralyzed duke and serve him.
Episode 4
Cordelia recoils at the match — the paralyzed beast rotting in his bed, the monster who mauled a maid to death. Her father is unmoved. "Damian may be a cripple, but at least he's still a duke." He shoves a blood oath at her: sign it, or Jack gets no more moon silver medicine. Her brother's life hangs on her choice. Jack himself protests, but their father orders her shipped off to Broken Spine Fortress. Cordelia signs — not for herself, but to keep her brother breathing.
Episode 5
At Broken Spine Fortress, Cordelia comes face to face with Damian — and he is standing. The crippled monster they warned her about is very much awake, and he knows exactly who she is: the woman who restored his powers. "Your Grace impatient, aren't you? Don't worry, little bride. We have the entire night to play." She backs away, refusing to give herself to a stranger, yet her own body betrays her, craving him. He taunts her about her ex-fiancé, and something about him feels disturbingly familiar.
Episode 6
Damian pulls back. "When you're truly ready for me, we'll finish what we started." Cordelia thanks him but insists she must return to Moonglow pack — not for Ryan, but for her brother Jack, who has been sick since childhood and needs the pack's moon silver medicine to live. Damian warns her: if she runs, he will hunt her down and drag her back. At Moonglow, Veronica gloats over the medicine, demanding Cordelia kneel and beg — then lets it slip from her hand with a mocking "Oops, looks like my hand slipped."
Episode 7
Veronica's cruelty escalates, mocking Damian as a limp, useless husband and threatening to let her guards show Cordelia "what a real wolf can do." Cordelia fights back, and when Veronica's people seize her, the truth comes out — Cordelia is carrying a child. Veronica shrieks that the little bitch is pregnant, then turns on her. Cordelia stands her ground, invoking the seal of Broken Spine Fortress and her title as duchess, warning that any hand laid on her will answer under noble law. Veronica only sneers that Damian is a rotting cripple about to lose everything.
Episode 8
Veronica runs to Father, claiming Cordelia nearly killed her and his grandchild, and presses him to act. He corners Cordelia: Damian is about to be stripped of his title, and soon she will be nothing. She realizes the truth — he knew Damian was ruined and sold her anyway. "So that's all I ever was to you. A piece of meat to be sold." He confirms it coldly. Then he declares he will destroy her inner wolf for shaming the pack and attacking Veronica. Cordelia tells him being his daughter was her greatest curse — just as someone arrives, courting death.
Watch it now — the twists keep landing harder every episode.
