Story Guide

Episode 1

Leo Banks has a problem most men would envy: he can see through things. When his master realizes Leo has opened his heavenly eye, there's no keeping him on the mountain anymore. The old man hands him a divine-demonic jade pendant and drops a bombshell — eighteen years ago, he arranged a childhood engagement for Leo with the daughter of the Lin family, a girl once plagued by dark energy. Marry her, the master says, and Leo can achieve a saintly body. Leo is overjoyed at the news that he has a wife, and he bolts down the mountain to find her.

Episode 2

The farewell gets messy fast. Leo's five senior sisters block his path, furious that their master is handing him off to an outsider. They insist Leo belongs to them — after all, he's been peeking at them for years. The master shuts them down with a warning: Leo carries a demonic saint physique, outwardly simple but dangerously volatile inside. Only the Lin daughter, cold on the surface but pure at heart, can balance him. So the sisters are given five identities in the mortal world — top wealth and power — to secretly protect him. Then Leo steps into the city and immediately gets threatened by a stranger.

Episode 3

City life starts badly. Leo stares a little too long, and a woman snaps that she'll gouge his eyes out. He fires back with a comment about her lace underwear, which does not help. Her sister, Lin Bingyao, tries to calm things down, but Lin Bingrou is convinced Leo is a stalker who's been following her. Just as the argument peaks, something comes flying at her. Leo lunges to push her clear — and lands square on her lips. The kiss is an accident. Lin Bingrou's fury is not.

Episode 4

Lin Bingrou is ready to kill him. Leo scrambles to explain that he only moved to save her from a falling object, but she isn't buying it — especially since he then admits he kissed her because her lips were soft and sweet. That confession nearly ends him on the spot. She demands he apologize, then refuses to accept any apology unless he cripples himself. Leo, unwilling to fight a woman, backs off instead and tells her to go home and change her clothes. She's left furious and humiliated.

Episode 5

As Lin Bingrou leaves, Leo catches sight of her jade pendant — and freezes. This is the woman he's been searching for. He chases after her, shouting that he's her husband, but she and Lin Bingyao only drive away faster, convinced a lunatic is following them. Meanwhile, Tu Shaolong's men move in. Leo warns them not to push him, but they attack anyway. He handles them with ease, dodging and countering, and makes clear he isn't someone to trifle with. The chase for his fiancée is only beginning.

Episode 6

Tu Shaolong's thugs prove useless against Leo. He mocks their weapons, and one thug vows to drag him to the crematorium himself. Elsewhere, Lin Bingyao admits the strange guy was bold enough to call her sister his wife, though he did seem strong. Lin Bingrou brushes it off, blaming the coffee he spilled on her for ruining her chance to crush him with her master's lethal palm technique. She asks about joining that master's sect, but Bingyao was rejected for not being ruthless enough. Bingrou heads off to shower and wash away her bad luck.

Episode 7

In the bathroom, the sisters talk about ambition. Lin Bingrou says she wants to be like a legendary ruthless fighter — merciless, powerful, with every man kneeling before her. She warns Bingyao never to fall in love, calling men nothing but animals to be used and discarded. Bingyao pushes back gently, insisting some good men must exist. Bingrou's mind drifts back to the coffee-spilling creep and the thug Blood Wolf supposedly hunting him. She swears she'll skin him alive. Meanwhile, Leo tracks her scent and finds the sisters — mid-shower.

Episode 8

Leo marvels at his fiancée's beauty, eager to marry her. Outside, Tu Shaolong and his men spot movement near the lit bathroom window and realize Lin Bingrou is showering. Thrilled, he sees this as fate handing him two chances at once. He orders drugged smoke prepared, boasting he'll knock her out and finally take the woman who has rejected countless men. As heir of the Dragon Slayer Gang, he's certain she can't escape him tonight. He moves in to spring his trap, declaring he's come to be her groom.

Episode 9

Fresh from her shower, Lin Bingrou is ready to deal with the coffee-spilling nuisance. But Bingyao complains of intense heat and starts acting strangely, begging to find a boyfriend and asking her sister for a kiss. Lin Bingrou realizes the truth — Bingyao has been drugged by someone blowing smoke into the room. Furious, she tells Bingyao to sit tight while she goes to deal with the sneaks. The night has turned dangerous, and the culprits are closer than she thinks.

Episode 10

Tu Shaolong taunts Lin Bingrou to come at him, admitting he drugged her because she refused his pursuit — his father's advice was to force the matter. He spots Bingyao lying on the sofa and gloats about claiming both sisters in one night, ordering music to set the mood. Lin Bingrou, weakened but defiant, still has fight left in her. As Tu Shaolong moves to press his advantage, the confrontation is about to explode.

Leo's got X-ray eyes, a jade pendant, and a fiancée who wants him dead — if that's not a reason to hit play, nothing is.
